Dance Instructor/Desk Host
Talia Larsen was a former student at Kenosha Academy of Performing Arts. Through her 14 years of technique classes, participation in the STAR-Leadership program, and National Honor Society for Dance, she attained the necessary skills needed to now help others develop through the arts. With these programs, she found her passion of sharing and educating dance among younger kids. With a broad education in multiple styles including ballet, tap, jazz, and contemporary she is able to instill the fundamentals essential for the students proper development. She is furthering her education currently at Carthage College majoring in Exercise and Sport Science with a Dance minor. She plans to stay involved in the dance community through a career in Physical Therapy helping injured dancers. Talia wants to give her students a better understanding of dance not only as an art form, but also as a strong character builder. She looks forward to her second chapter here at KAPA, now as the instructor, educating kids just as she was when first beginning her journey.
